Privacy Notice

How Spectrum Dock Family Finance collects, uses, and retains personal information, written in line with the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) of the Republic of Korea.

This notice describes how Spectrum Dock Family Finance Co., Ltd. (“we”, “us”) collects, uses, and retains personal information when you contact us through this website or work with us on a planning engagement. It is written to match the standard structure of a Korean 개인정보처리방침 (personal information processing policy).

Personal information controller

The controller of personal information on this site is Spectrum Dock Family Finance Co., Ltd., business registration number 131-81-41279, mail-order report number 제2026-인천남동-0142호, representative director Kang Seo-a (강서아). Our office is at 93-4, Guwol-dong, Namdong-gu, Incheon, Republic of Korea. You can reach us at +82-32-472-6815 or info@spectrumdock.digital.

Items of personal information collected

Through the inquiry form on this site we collect the items you choose to provide:

  • Your full name;
  • Your email address;
  • Your phone number, if you choose to provide it;
  • The topic you select and the message you write about your situation;
  • A timestamp of submission.

We do not collect sensitive personal information (such as resident registration numbers, health, or political opinions) through this website. If we need additional information to run a planning engagement, we collect it separately and with your consent, in the engagement itself.

Purposes of collection and use

We use the information collected through the inquiry form only to:

  • Respond to your inquiry, usually by email;
  • Arrange a first conversation (at our office, by phone, or online);
  • Keep a record of the inquiry so we can follow up if you decide to proceed with a planning engagement.

We do not use inquiry data for marketing, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to responding to your inquiry.

Retention and use periods

We retain inquiry records for 12 months after your last contact with us, after which the record is deleted unless you have entered a planning engagement, in which case the relevant information is retained for the duration of the engagement and for 5 years thereafter for records required by Korean tax and commercial law, after which it is deleted or anonymised.

Consent and your right to refuse

Submitting the inquiry form requires your active consent, confirmed by the checkbox on the form. You may refuse to consent; in that case we simply cannot receive your inquiry through the form, and you are welcome to contact us by phone or email instead.

Rights of data subjects

Under PIPA you have the right to access, correct, erase, and restrict the processing of your personal information, and the right to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, write to info@spectrumdock.digital with the words “personal information request” and a description of what you need. We respond within 10 business days.

How inquiry data is handled technically

The inquiry form submits JSON to a handler on this same domain (/api/inquiry). The data is transmitted to our server only; it is not passed to any third party. No analytics, advertising pixels, or third-party tracking scripts run on this site. The only item kept in your own browser is your consent choice, stored under the key spectrumdock.digital-consent in your browser’s local storage; you can clear it at any time from your browser settings or from the cookies page.

Delegation of processing

We do not outsource the processing of inquiry data to a third party. If a planning engagement requires us to work with a third party (for example, a notary or a tax accountant), we will name that party and obtain your separate consent before sharing any information.

Security measures

We maintain reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information: transmission over HTTPS, restricted access to inquiry records, and deletion at the end of the retention period. If a data breach occurs that is likely to cause you harm, we will notify you without undue delay, as required by PIPA.

Children

This site and the inquiry form are intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the form. If a child has submitted information to us, please write to info@spectrumdock.digital and we will delete it.

Changes to this notice

If we change how we handle inquiry data, we will update this page and note the change in the terms where relevant. The last review date of this notice is held in our internal build record.
